Mount Pleasant Garden Rooms is run by us, Matt and Michelle, a husband-and-wife team based in the East Midlands. We have spent more than 20 years working in property development and construction, building, renovating and improving homes. Mount Pleasant Garden Rooms grew naturally from that experience after we designed and built a garden room for our own family.

Living with our own garden room helped us understand just how much difference the right space can make to everyday family life. It also inspired us to focus our experience on creating bespoke garden rooms for other people.

Designed around you

We do not believe in one-size-fits-all garden rooms. Every building is individually designed around the customer, their garden and how they want to use the finished space. That could be a peaceful home office, a family living room, a garden gym, an art studio, a salon, an entertaining space or a combination of different uses.

We take time to understand what matters to you, from the size and layout to the position of the doors, the style of the cladding and the interior finish. Our aim is to create a room that looks as though it genuinely belongs in your garden and feels like a natural extension of your home.

Built and finished to a high standard

Matt is closely involved throughout the design and construction of every garden room, working hands-on with our trusted team to make sure the quality is right at every stage. Our rooms are fully insulated and professionally finished, with plastered and decorated interiors, flooring, electrics, and carefully considered details. Because we manage the complete build, you are not left trying to coordinate several different trades or finish the room yourself once the structure is complete.

A personal and straightforward experience

As a small family business, the service you receive is genuinely personal. From your first conversation with us through to the final finishing touches, you will be dealing directly with the people responsible for designing and building your garden room. We do not use salespeople or apply pressure. We prefer to listen, offer honest advice and provide a clear quotation so you can make the right decision for your home. For us, a successful garden room is not simply one that looks good on completion. It should be a room that becomes part of your everyday life and continues to bring value and enjoyment for many years.
